If people who wants to download the files can't avoid seeing who did the work, and literally is sent straight to their page, then I don't see what difference an explicit shoutout on my page would do. If someone linked to some of my work on Skyrim for example , I would be perfectly happy with just that link. If someone linked directly to my files without any mentioning, I would be probably be a bit disappointed.
